Uche Fuels Dominant Palace Win at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Even though embarking on their maiden continental campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are adapting at a rapid pace. Without star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable result that virtually secures them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another three points in their next match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal straight passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion offered a platform for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second game in succession.

The match was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some comically weak challenges before coolly dispatching a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
